Try the NEW P.F. Chang’s menu at Irvine Spectrum Center!

OC foodies have another reason to rejoice – P.F. Chang’s at Irvine Spectrum Center is giving us all (that includes you!) an early peek at their new look and tastes. As the restaurant celebrates its 20th anniversary, the remodeled ISC location is the first in the country to debut its refreshed look and new menu items. Lucky us!

The new menu, which is available now at ISC and June 19 nationally, highlights light, fresh ingredients such as heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, mango, and pears. This new Summer Cuisine menu includes the following eight seasonal creations and wine pairings:

  • Peking Duck Summer Rolls—Duck salad with julienne green papaya, snow peas and carrots wrapped in rice paper, served with a mango jalapeno vinaigrette. Suggested wine pairing: Coppo Barbera d’ Asti

  • Summer Vegetable Quinoa “Fried Rice”—Wok-toasted quinoa with summer sunburst squash, mango, tomatoes and snow peas, topped with a sunny side egg. Suggested wine pairing: MacMurray Ranch Pinot Noir

  • Heirloom Tomato & Thai Basil Salad—A starter salad with a refreshing summer selection of heirloom tomatoes and avocado, finished with Thai Basil and a zesty Asian ponzu dressing. Suggested wine pairing: Frog’s Leap Sauvignon Blanc
  • Grilled Swordfish with Pineapple Chutney—Asian-spiced line-caught sushi-grade swordfish served over a chilled rice and summer vegetable salad with black garlic aioli and a pineapple-pear chutney. Suggested wine pairing: Patz & Hall Chardonnay
  • Korean BBQ Chicken Stir-Fry—Korean-style chicken stir-fry with red peppers, onions and green beans in a sweet, spicy red chili sauce topped with a refreshing summer kimchi slaw. Suggested wine pairing: Boutari Moschofilero

  • Grilled Prawns with Red Curry Peanut Noodles—Grilled Southeast Asian prawns with chilled noodles, shaved snow peas, bean sprouts, carrots, cilantro and lime in a red curry-peanut sauce. Suggested wine pairing: Laurenz and Sophie, Grüner Veltliner
  • California Roll—Crab salad, cucumber, avocado and sesame seasoned rice rolled-to-order. Suggested wine pairing: Mumm Napa Brut
  • Spicy Tuna Roll—Spicy Ahi tuna, cucumber, daikon sprouts and sesame-seasoned rice rolled-to-order. Suggested wine pairing: Essence Riesling

Two new seasonal cocktails are also now available and are sure to freshen you up (possibly for some more shopping?):

  • Long Island Tequila Tea—Featuring 1800 Silver, Reposado and Añejo Tequilas shaken with fresh sour mix and topped with Coca-Cola
  • Long Island Rum Tea—With Cruzan Mango, Guava and Aged Light Rums with fresh sour mix and a splash of cranberry 

Beyond the new seasonal offerings, P.F. Chang’s is also making additions to its core menu, including a Thai Beef Noodle Salad, and fresh takes on traditional favorites such as Orange Peel Chicken, Lemon Chicken and Spring Rolls. All of the new items will be showcased with a new physical menu and plate presentations.

Celebrate Mother’s Day at Irvine Spectrum Center

Mother’s Day is right around the corner…literally! Still haven’t decided what to do for mom this Sunday? With nearly 150 shops and restaurants Irvine Spectrum Center is the perfect place to celebrate.  Some of our restaurants will be rolling out the red carpet with some featured specials to help make mom feel like the VIP she is:

  • CUCINA enoteca will be serving a special Brunch Menu on May 12 that can be enjoyed on their charming patio or inside their eclectic dining room. Chef Jack Fisher will also be baking cookies for the Moms, grandmas and mommys-to-be who dine in. To make reservations, please call 949-861-2222.
  • Paul Martin’s American Grill begins the Mother’s Day celebration on Saturday with special Prix Fix brunch for two for just $19!  And for every Prix Fix brunch ordered, receive a second with their compliments.  Your meal will include fresh baked bread and brewery butter, fresh fruit bowl, your choice of an entrée and a beverage.  Dine with Paul Martin’s on Sunday, May 12, and each mom in your party will receive a $25 gift card to enjoy at a later date (gift cards available for brunch service only). Outdoor Ice Rink open at Irvine Spectrum Center

The Irvine Spectrum Center Ice Rink is a tradition the whole family can enjoy! Prices are $14 for adults and children, and $3 for skate rental. Prices for toddlers (size 8T – 12T only) are $12 and includes skate rental. Helmets are optional and provided free of charge. Season passes, private lessons, and group events are also available. The outdoor Ice Rink is located in Giant Wheel Court adjacent to Nordstrom and Macy’s.
